How does it work?
Collapse Magic is a lightweight WordPress plugin that lets you add collapsible “read more” sections to any page or post. It controls how much content visitors see at first glance and improves the user experience. The plugin works as a direct replacement for Collapse-O-Matic with no changes needed to your existing content.
You can easily customise expand/collapse labels, arrow icons, text height, and fade-out effects for a clean, polished look. Collapse Magic was built after a security vulnerability was found in Collapse-O-Matic, making it a safer and more reliable option. It does not currently support AMP.
It’s easy:

We make every effort to ensure that all the WordPress guidelines are followed and that our plugins are optimised to perform well in all our tests.
The very first time you view the page after installing the plugin you may need to refresh the page (ctrl+F5) to ensure that the new style and script libraries are initiated. If needed this should be a once-off refresh. Everything should be fine thereafter.
Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) has strict limitations on JavaScript, and does not allow jQuery. This breaks the dynamic features that are key to this plugin.
Maybe, nesting shortcodes does not always work and if you are using a page builder then this may mangle your shortcodes. Use the classic builder for more chance of success.
